Trunk or Treat 2021
Trying to pull off an acceptable event during Covid was a bit of a challenge. But we were able to secure a parking lot to have our first Trunk-or-Treat event and successfully had numerous cars passing out candy to all the kids who stopped by. We partnered up with "Geeks for Kids" who modify amazing motorized cars for any child's disabilities. Each car is unique to the kids specific abilities to allow them to control it and drive around. It seemed like such a great mash up since we both cater to the same audience of families. Geeks for Kids were so interested in what we do, that they offered to make the two wheelchair costumes that were given away at the event. 3-year-old Paxtyn received an awesome Buzz Lightyear ship. I'm not sure who was more excited, Paxtyn or his older brother. Then 4-year-old Conrad always wanted to be a Police man. So we created Conrad's very own Police car to drive around in. We even had members of the Olathe Police department there to help escort Officer Conrad around the Trunk-or-Treat event. Overall, it was a great event and one that we wouldn't mind doing again. Thank you to everyone who helped pull this off and make it a success for everyone.
