C2E2 2020
Our 2nd year to Chicago for C2E2, ended up being our only show for 2020. Immediately after this show, the pandemic hit and every other show for the year was postponed or canceled. We set up our booth in Cosplay Central, and ended up being next to some amazingly talented individuals, HDC Fabrication. We had 3 wheelchair costumes in our booth, but 2 of the 3 were under a sheet for the first day of the comicon. First thing Saturday morning, Lon and Reese hosted a panel talking about Walkin' & Rollin' Costumes and then ended the presentation by revealing what the two costumes were under the sheet. They were two matching TRON Lightcycle wheelchair costumes! They featured lights that you could switch to which team you wanted to be on, and they blasted out the soundtrack to TRON: Legacy. We even had our photos of the Lightcycles noticed by both Bruce Boxleitner (original TRON) and Olivia Wilde (TRON: Legacy)! The other costume we took was our crowd pleasing Splash Mountain and even more people enjoyed getting in the back of the costume for their photo op. Here are some of the photos we took of the experience.
